The idea that a certain ritual symbol, along with an small amount of blood, will cause your (very) compatible demonic lovercompanion to appear. Binding both in a contract.
conditions to the contract:
If the ritual was done unwanted then the fated pair will have a chance of one of two outcomesÂ
One, the demon becomes human and the two will live the rest of their mortal days together and happy.Â
 Or
Two, the human becomes a demon, and while the two will still be happy together, demonic pairs tend to disappear off the face of the earth and enter hell. Living there for probably the rest of their existenceÂ
Contract doesnât specify how to turn either into demon or humanâŚ
People are going missing and Detective Connor (human) is the one assigned to the case, soon he finds to be binded to Hank an old demon. Who knows many things about the contract but isnât willing to easily tell the details of it cause demons are assholes that way. (Richard gets tangled in too but more on that later)
A culprit thinks that the ritual is for getting rid of people via âspiriting awayâ with out knowing what it really does (tho in a sense they are right). What they do is that they send the cursed symbol in a letter (granted that the symbol needs to be made in specific ink ingredients) what the victim doesnât know is that there are razors in the edges of the letter.
Now the detective brothers have to stop who ever is doing this before they turn (and if they turn) will the help of their demon partnersâŚ.
Apple: Literally design their phones to become an expensive toxic brick within a few years
Gas Companies: Actively work to prevent anything being done to develop, promote or in any way make green energy sources widely known of available or affordable to anyone because slowly murdering the planet makes them millions of dollars
Big Companies: Literally dump toxic crap where it will cause serious harm to the earth and the species on it
Governments: Clearly what we need to do to save the earth is make people pay money to use carrier bags so they can actually carry their shopping home
AND BAN DRINKING STRAWS
This, my friends, is called Individualization of Responsibility, aka holding the citizens accountable for the destruction caused by corporations
and we have to remember that this is also ableist. a lot of the reusable alternatives in the market are not as good as plastic straws. also, some people with disabilities have difficulty washing their utensils to begin with and banning plastic straws isnât doing them any favors.Â
My disabled brother drinks with a straw. He doesn’t have very good hand eye motor coordination but drinking from his travel mugs with a straw helps (plus he likes the bendy straws and gets upset when they don’t bend)
