a lot of people seem to be reporting tumblr deleting their blogs, and it’s because of the bots. however, it is NOT for posting nsfw content.
it’s for having links in your blog description.
remember a few days ago when people couldn’t search for posts with links in them? it’s most likely related to this. even non-nsfw blogs are being taken down in the purge. so to prevent your blog from being deleted, REMOVE LINKS FROM YOUR BLOG DESCRIPTION.
Also, if your blog is deleted on accident, email tumblr staff about it, and they will restore your blog.

I don’t know if this is true, but knowing this garbage site, I wouldn’t put it past them to just sweep everyone out together instead of bothering to look at content or links or anything. Signal boost, just in case.
Ok let me see if I can say this without coming off as rude as I hope you are trying to help and not just being an annoying customer.
It’s NOTjust our blog that is affected. It’s any blog that Tumblr thinks is not safe for work. They are forcing safe search ON while using the mobile app. This ignores your personal settings trying to turn safe search off. It is a corporate decision internally at Yahoo! (Tumblr’s parent company)
The blog can be searched for and found using a computer or the mobile browser on your mobile (Safari or Chrome). It however can not be found using the mobile app as Tumblr (not this blog) have turned safe search on and there is nothing this blog can do about it. I submitted a trouble ticket with tumblr but I don’t expect them to do anything at this point.
You can still see the posts on the mobile app if you follow the blog. But if you don’t follow yet then you’ll have to search us out and follow us on a computer or mobile browser. I apologize for this but I don’t have a say in the matter and I would kindly direct you to talk to management if you have any further complaints. Thank you for business and please come again.

I think something related to the purge is that I can no longer change if safe search is on or not when I go to search tumblr.
Can anybody else change their safe settings? It should have been that little lock you could lock and unlock.
