This.

It’s genuinely worrying to me how often white supremacist misogynist dudes have a weird Viking obsession. The Vikings did not agree with you. Stop dragging the Vikings into this.

Right-wingers: We should treat the Muslims like the Vikings did!
Me: You mean travel thousands of miles to strike up profitable trade deals with them in their own countries and establish mutually beneficial business arrangements?
Right-wingers: Wot?

Gardein food is amazing. It isn’t overtly salty (like most Amy’s products are) or bland and the food actually tastes like meat, chicken and fish. It’s damn delicious!

Me, in tears, halfway through writing a 300 word essay: I can’t do this anymore

Person on A03 who’s writing for fun:

PLEASE HELP! IVE GOT A 1000 WORD ESSAY DUE SOON AND I HAVENT EVEN STARTED!

Its easy:

250 words opening/introduction

250-500 words argument/debate using sources (remember to cite your work!) and make sure to use a lot of sources (at least one extra then required)

250 conclusion

=

1000 word essay.

The word count is actually pretty easy. The topic is what’s stumping me. Its a paper about the theatrical design of a play I just saw and I have to write it from a designers point of view. I literally don’t even know where to start 😂

Setting: where/when does it take place?

Character: costumes and significance of clothing?

Background: why was that specific background used?

Cost: how much would something like that have cost?

Break it down like you were creating the play or compare it with a similar play or a play done by another company?
