Speaking of a DBH omegaverse AU (as one does while sick and wide awake from a delicious coffee/sweet drink), here is something to consider:

If Connor was designed to be an omega to better fit into society and be seen less as a threat and also be more acceptable partner if Hank is an alpha

RK900 was designed to be an alpha to fit into society but into a greater authority position and a potential working partner for Gavin (who for all intense and purposes is a petty omega and nobody can convince me otherwise)

The potential for conflict between Connor and RK900 is endless. Would RK900 look down on Connor? What would happen if Connor triggered a synthetic heat? What would happen if RK900 got infected with a virus and it triggered a rut? What would happen?

I’m not saying that RK900 would finally get fed up of Gavin’s insults and abuse and throw him over a desk and spank him in front of the whole precinct while scolding him for smoking, being an ass, and a miserable runt of a human, but he probably would.

But then Fowler would call them both in and Gavin would lie and say it was all prank for some shitty reality show and Fowler would suspend him for a week.

Which leads to the middle of the night and Gavin texting Rk900 his address and that they need to talk. Which makes RK900 think Gavin is going to shoot him so he takes a bit longer to finish up his work (because Gavin would never get it done on time), sends a text to Connor to take care of his rock collection and leaves the station.

Only to find Gavin has been waiting for him and when RK900 enters the apartment, Gavin grabs him and slams him against the wall and RK900 just sighs and asks him to make it quick and when Gavin doesn’t move, he notices the flush on his face and the fact Gavin can’t look at him.

Thats when Gavin mumbles and asks RK900 to do it again. RK900 can hear just fine but doesn’t believe him and asks him to say it again. This time Gavin looks at RK900 and says “Please, do it again” so RK900 grabs Gavin and pushes him onto a table and does it again.

And thus Gavin’s productivity and case completion rate inproves by at least 32%.

Honestly I think Gavin would be one of those one time or fuck buddy sort of things because you could never bring him home to meet the parents because you just know the first time he opens his mouth your parents are going to give you the look of ‘why did you bring him home?’ and ’it’s not serious, right?’
